What Does Love Really Mean?

What Does Love Really Mean?Love is said to be one of the greatest mysteries of the universe. Every mundane thing we do each and every day is either covered or flavored by love. There have been countless attempt to define what love is but still the definitions are still kind of vague and various people from different walks of life have different opinions when it comes to defining what love is. But one thing is for sure, love is up in the air and those who breathe the love air will soon get infected by it and have all the symptoms generally associated to it.
I once heard someone said “if you feel you want to get close to
someone and you’re willing to do everything for that person without
asking anything in return, that means you love that person” but what about if you do everything for that person and you expect for that person to give something in return, can you call this as love? I recently read news on Cnn, It says that there’s a Japanese
teenage girl who committed suicide just because her BF dumped her in the middle of their raging relationship. I can’t find the point why this girl didn’t think twice before she did this. I used to think that the power of money is stronger than anything, but I was wrong, now I realize that the power of love can be even more damaging than love, which can drive people into thinking and doing illogical things so that they don’t value themselves as human being and have the feeling of unworthiness. People who already committed suicide sure can’t think of the consequences of what they did for they are already dead.
What I am saying is, if you really are in love with someone and that you can’t help it but thinking of her or him in your waking time, you shouldn’t fall into despair if one day you don’t get what you expect. Life is too precious to waste and instead of being stressed out or depressed by little things happening all around you, you should cherish what you have because you have no idea how lucky you are if compared with others whose lives are less fortunate than you are. So be happy and “Carpe Diem (Seize the day)” - Lang Freak's original
