In today's busy world we all have full agendas: working, cleaning,
doing errands, taking care of children, meeting with friends, visiting family and
the list goes on. How are you supposed to learn English
with all those mundane activities? Keep reading to discover how to learn English
fast and easily.
First
thing first: before taking a glass of coffee in the morning you should find
three words that you don’t know in English by using a dictionary or internet. Learning
three new words a day will get you to 21 new words a week. Don’t worry if you
are not sure yet of how to use each words correctly, at least try to expose
yourself to new vocabulary each day.
Second,
watch movies or listen to music in English (audio books or podcasts are also
good options). You can do this while cleaning the house or going to work. At first
you might not be able to understand everything but you will be exposed to more English
and little by little you will eventually develop good ears of English.
My
last tip may be a little weird but please bear with me, think in English, and
if no one is around, speak aloud in English. It may seem silly at first, but
trust me; it is a great way to make use of your time. I know that at
first it can be an impossible task since your thought will automatically turn back to your mother tongue but with time and practice you'll get over it and soon you'll be thinking in English faster than you think. You can do this while doing other mundane things like going to work, going shopping, picking up the kids and no one knows that you are
actually learning English because it all occurs in you head. But please do be careful, keep your eyes open so you won't bump into a tree or a light pole.
One
more thing, if you don’t know a word, look it up and write it. I can not stress
this enough. It is a good way of learning new vocabulary.
thank u. great tips.
